gaza camp

Since 1991, the Culture and Free Thought Association has worked in the Gaza Strip, drawing on more than 25 years of experience mobilizing communities for collective action and a network of experienced volunteers. In Gaza City, the Association operates the Gaza Medical Point, which provides primary healthcare services. In 2025, the Association ran 2 facilities in Gaza Governorate, covering medical centers, safe spaces for women and girls, youth and cultural facilities, and administrative offices. Across the Strip, the Association’s health services reached more than 140,000 beneficiaries in 2025, and its overall work reached more than 200,000 people that year.

The Association’s psychosocial support services, delivered by specialized staff through drama therapy, expressive arts, psychological counseling, and cultural and recreational activities, aim to protect the well-being of children and mothers and to build trust and healthy relationships among young people. Affected communities take part in planning humanitarian aid through consultations, community meetings, and field visits, and the Association has 31 community committees working in camps and displacement sites across the Strip.
