Reflecting youth’s interest in the issues affecting their communities and their desire to understand them more deeply, a group of young women and men participated in a series of in-depth discussion sessions with inspiring individuals and specialists. The sessions provided a safe and interactive environment where participants could engage in dialogue, reflect, and share experiences.
These sessions were organized in response to the choices of youth themselves, who identified and carefully planned the topics they wanted to discuss. The sessions aimed to broaden their knowledge and deepen their understanding of the challenges facing their communities, supporting their ability to produce creative works that reflect their realities and aspirations.
The discussions covered a range of vital issues, including early marriage, coping strategies and psychosocial support during crises, digital literacy, and environmental health, as well as the importance of enhancing young people’s participation in community life and their role in driving positive change.
The sessions served as a rich space for open dialogue, enabling participants to exchange views and experiences while learning from the expertise of specialists. This contributed to strengthening their ability to analyze, discuss, and express community issues through creative and impactful approaches that can reach and engage community.
These sessions were conducted as part of the activities of the “Safe Interactive Spaces – Phase II” project, implemented in partnership with the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung.
