Details of the tender for the supply and installation of air conditioning units

The Culture and Free Thought Association wishes to announce a sealed-bid tender for the supply and installation of air conditioning units. This tender is part of the project “Strengthening Integration and Advocacy Mechanisms from a Human Rights-Based Approach in the Culture and Free Thought Association and the Wasal Network,” funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by GIZ in partnership with the Culture and Free Thought Association. Licensed and properly classified companies and businesses wishing to participate should visit the Association’s headquarters, located in the Al-Amal neighborhood, behind the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, in Khan Younis, to purchase the tender documents during official working hours, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, starting Wednesday, September 13, 2023, and ending Tuesday, September 19, 2023. A non-refundable fee of 100 NIS is required.

• – The preliminary meeting will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the headquarters of the Culture and Free Thought Association in Al-Amal District.
• – The deadline for submitting sealed bids is Monday, September 25, 2023, before 1:00 PM at the Association’s headquarters.
• – The envelopes will be opened on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM, in the presence of all interested parties participating in the tender.

  – A bid bond of 2% of the bid value must be submitted, either in the form of a bank check or a valid bank guarantee. Cash or personal checks will not be accepted.

• – The winning bidder must submit a performance guarantee of 10% of the bid value, either in the form of a bank check or a valid bank guarantee.
• – The winning bidder must submit an official invoice and a withholding tax certificate.

  – A copy of the company’s valid and certified commercial registration certificate, as per the established procedures, must be submitted with the tender documents. – A valid tax clearance certificate must be attached when submitting the tender documents.

• – The association reserves the right to divide the tender.
• – The association is not obligated to accept the lowest price.
• – The winning bidder will bear the cost of advertising in a local newspaper.
